Senior Lee Keysor pitched a no-hit game for St. Joe's in a 2-0 Monsignor Martin Association win over archrival Canisius as the Marauders reversed last week's loss to the Crusaders, ranked fourth among large schools in The Buffalo News large school poll.

Keysor struck out 10 and walked only one.

St. Joe's, ranked No. 8 among large schools, took the lead in the fifth when Bill Schukraft's sacrifice fly scored Andrew Russo, who had walked. The Marauders added an insurance run in the sixth when Keysor doubled and pinch runner Jim Weppner scored on a single by Mike Bloom.

Elsewhere in the league, Steve Bartell went 3 for 3 with three RBIs for St. Francis in a 16-1 win over Cardinal O'Hara. Cory Barbeau and Andy Halbina combined on a one-hitter with 12 strikeouts.

ECIC I: Jamestown's Jordan Basile took a two-hit shutout into the seventh but had to settle for a four-hit, 4-2 victory over Lancaster. He struck out nine. John Melquist doubled home what proved to be the winning run in the top of the seventh. Jordan Moran had two hits for the Raiders. . . . Mark Caruana hit a two-run homer and Mike Lettiere had a two-run double to lead West Seneca West over Clarence, 5-2.

ECIC II: Bill Hederer, Josh Szeluga and Matt Stacey each drove in two runs for West Seneca East (8-0, 3-0) in a 12-9 win over Pioneer. Winning pitcher Ryan Schreiber allowed just one run in five innings. . . . Winning pitcher Mark Fregelette hit a three-run homer as Hamburg overpowered Lake Shore, 16-5. Nathaniel Konikoff had two hits and scored four times for the Bulldogs.

ECIC III: Starpoint earned its first ECIC III baseball win ever, defeating Tonawanda, 5-3. Winning pitcher Chris Storey allowed just four hits in 6 1/3 innings, scored twice and had two hits. Justin Scott drove in three runs with a double and sacrifice fly. . . . Shawn Pisadnick had four hits and drove in three runs and Cody Gernatt had a pair of hits and picked up the save as Springville won its first league game, 10-8, over Depew.

ECIC IV: J.J. Meyer pitched a three-hitter, Charlie Karstedt drove in two runs with his three hits and Jeremy Juhasz had two hits for three RBIs in Eden's 20-0 win over Lackawanna.

Niagara Frontier: Zach Wagner pitched a complete game, homered and drove in four runs as Kenmore East (3-1 in NFL) won at Lew-Port, 6-5. Jordan Sibbet singled home what proved to be the winning run, giving the Bulldogs a 6-3 lead in the top of the seventh. Zach Tassesse had three hits for the winners. . . . Joe LaDuca had a pair of hits and Evan Kraft pitched a four-hitter to lead North Tonawanda over Niagara Falls, 6-3.

Niagara-Orleans: Ramon Andino was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded and two out in the bottom of the seventh, allowing Bobby Warne to score the winning run in Albion's 4-3 win over Newfane. . . . Akron scored an unearned run in the top of the ninth for a 5-4 win over Barker. Orrie Wilkins pitched all the way to get the win. Kevin Parzych and Robert Izydorczak each had a pair of singles for the Tigers. . . . Adam White homered and later singled home the winning run in the bottom of the seventh to give Medina a 3-2 win over Roy-Hart.

CCIAC I: Jeremy Cummings drove in five runs, three on a homer in the third inning, as Falconer (4-1 in division play) topped Allegany-Limestone, 9-7. Matt Raines had two hits and picked up the save for the Falcons. . . . Brian Bongiovanni had four hits with a triple and four RBIs, and winning pitcher Tom Lutz scattered eight hits as Fredonia routed Southwestern, 18-3.

Cattaraugus III: Chris Bley pitched a two-hitter with 12 strikeouts and Scott Goodheart (three hits, three RBIs), Kevin Neubeck (two hits, four RBIs) and Brandon Wilczynski (three hits, two RBIs) led the attack for North Collins for a 20-1 rout of Walsh in a league opener. ~

Niagara Frontier: Michelle Krier allowed just three hits and drove in a run as she pitched Kenmore West (4-1) over Kenmore East, 5-1. Alex Meglin had two hits for the Blue Devils. . . . Lockport edged Niagara-Wheatfield, 2-1, in a game that was suspended Friday with the Lions leading, 2-0, in the top of the second. Maria Mangine completed a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts for Lockport. . . . Amanda Thompson pitched a four-hitter, struck out nine and walked none, and Jamie Rinehart drove in four runs as Niagara Falls (7-4, 4-0) defeated North Tonawanda, 5-2.

ECIC I: Orchard Park defeated Sweet Home, 5-2, on a three-hitter by Emily McManus, who struck out nine and walked none. Kaitlin Graham went 4 for 4 and Leah Ellman had a double and triple for the Quakers. . . . Kerry Ulmer lashed three hits and drove in three runs for Williamsville North (7-0, 5-0) in a 9-3 win over Lancaster. Lauren Parisi had three hits and Danielle Abbarno had two for the Spartans.

ECIC II: Niki Rieman pitched a two-hitter and drove in both runs with a triple in the third inning as Lake Shore topped Hamburg, 2-0. . . . West Seneca East rolled over Pioneer, 19-0. Courtney Damian had a triple and two singles, Rebecca Pietrasik had two doubles and two singles, and Damian and Lauren Stawski combined on the shutout.

ECIC III: Chelsea Plimpton pitched a three-hitter and had two hits as Williamsville South (7-0, 4-0) stretched its winning streak to 35 games with a 6-0 win over Starpoint. It was the 39th straight win for Plimpton. Michelle Fridey had a triple and single for two RBIs for the Billies. . . . Carine Janis and Allison Bracikowski combined for 10 strikeouts and pitched a two-hitter for Depew in a 13-0 win over Springville.

ECIC IV: Alden's Carlissa Cole pitched a no-hitter with eight strikeouts and delivered her second home run of the season in a 16-0 win over Holland. Jordan Rutkowski hit her fourth homer for the Bulldogs (6-4, 3-1) and had three hits . . . Jamey Wierzba (triple) and Shannon Connors (two doubles) each had three hits in Eden's 16-5 win over Lackawanna.

Thompson Trophy: Carmen Cartagena hit a three-run homer and Vanessa Gray and Brianna Speck combined on a four-hitter as McKinley defeated da Vinci, 11-2, in a League 1 game.

Monsignor Martin: Sacred Heart improved its league record to 4-0 with a 6-1 victory over Holy Angels behind the two-hit pitching of Mallory Pemberton. Kristen DeCarlo and Elyse Monte each had three hits for the Sharks.

Niagara-Orleans: Marisa Moore had a two-run double as Barker scored its runs in the top of the eighth for a 3-0 extra-inning win over Akron. Moore, the winning pitcher, escaped a bases-loaded situation in the seventh. . . . Jen Biernacki of Medina pitched a one-hitter in a 14-0 win over Roy-Hart. Brittany Benthin had three hits for the Mustangs (4-0). . . . Shawna Albright had four hits and Brandi Froman contributed a key two-run single in Albion's 10-3 win over Newfane.

CCIAC I: Alexis Carlson went 4 for 4, Shelby Carlson had three hits and both hit home runs for Falconer (11-1, 5-0) in a 13-2 win over Allegany-Limestone. . . . Jennica Spinuzza hit a home run and triple in Fredonia's 11-0 win over Southwestern. Judy Corsi pitched a five-hitter for the Hillbillies.

CCIAC II: Frewsburg (8-4, 5-1) defeated Silver Creek, 10-2, as Beth Prince pitched a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and no walks, and Britain Kamholtz hit a two-run homer and singled.

CCIAC II: Kari Barmore hit a three-run homer, and Alicia Morley had two hits and two RBIs and pitched Cassadaga Valley over Chautauqua Lake, 10-3. Morley struck out 11. Alicia Abbey's triple scored the CL runs. . . . Karen Swan had three hits and drove in a run for Ripley in an 8-3 win over Forestville. Kelsey Sherwood had two hits for Forestville.
