FASHION SHOW: A Civil War Fashion Show will be held by the Ladies of the Collins Independent Signal Corps/Levi Battery Light Artillery and the 94th New York Volunteer Infantry Re-enactors at 7 p.m. today in the Marilla Community Center, 1810 Two Rod Road. The program is open to the public and is the second in a series presented by the Marilla Historical Society preceding the Aug. 6 and 7 Civil War Encampment and re-enactment in Marilla Town Park.

MOTHER'S DAY ROSES: The Marilla Kiwanis Club is selling long-stemmed red roses for Mother's Day. Call 652-2410 or visit the Marilla General Store on Two Rod Road for an order form. To guarantee an order, it must be placed by Friday. Proceeds benefit the town and fund scholarships.

BIKER BENEFIT: Motorcycle Run, Chopper Show & Benefit Party to benefit the Food Bank of Western New York will be held Saturday. 5: Check-in is at noon at Spider Grove, 1822 Davis Road (Route 240) at Behm Road in West Falls. Featured is a short short run, to 2 p.m., to the benefit party at Milligan's Pub, 3864 Abbott Road, Orchard Park. Live music will be provided by the Bar King Spiders, with free snacks and a cash bar and a choppers show. Admission is free, with two or more nonperishable food item donations. GARAGE SALE: A garage sale will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, with a bag sale from 11:30 a.m. to noon, in Elma United Methodist Church Co-op Preschool, 2991 Bowen Road, Elma.

CLEANUP: The 32nd annual Marilla Roadside cleanup will be Saturday. Participants should report to the Community Center, 1810 Two Rod Road at 9 a.m. for registration and supplies, returning there for lunch at noon. The Kiwanis Club of Marilla will provide the food. NEW PLAYGROUND: The Elma Primary PTO Playground Committee is asking for community volunteers to help construct a playground behind the school at 711 Rice Road between Bowen and Seneca streets on Saturday. Bring metal rakes, shovels, ratchet sets, wrenches and tape measures. Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. Call 652-2742 for time.
