FALLS WOMAN IS FOURTH CHARGED IN BEATING

A Niagara Falls woman appeared in Niagara County Court on Friday as the fourth defendant arraigned in connection with the beating of a man Aug. 29 in Niagara Falls.

Adrian B. Ralands, 32, of Niagara Avenue, was charged with second-degree gang assault.

Three other Niagara Falls residents also were indicted on the same charge: Laneeka N. Elder, 24, of Lockport Street; Tina M. Dolson, 32, of North Avenue; and Terrance A. Elder, 27, of 23rd Street. Those three were arraigned last week.

The four are accused of attacking Learon James with a baseball bat and their fists. He suffered serious facial injuries, Assistant District Attorney Susan M. Howard said.
