Melissa Ann Zubris, a doctoral candidate in materials science and engineering in Georgia Institute of Technology, and Paul Jason Williams, a doctoral candidate in chemical engineering in the institute, were married at 2 p.m. April 9 in the Lodge at Unicoi, Unicoi State Park, Helen, Ga., preceding a reception. White County (Ga.) Probate Judge Garrison Baker heard the vows of the daughter of Sharon and Donald Zubris of North Tonawanda and the son of Wanda and Paul J. Williams Jr. of Jasper, Tenn.

A graduate of North Tonawanda High School and Northwestern University, the bride has a master's degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. The bridegroom is a graduate of Notre Dame High School, Chattanooga, Tenn., and Tennesee Technological University, where he received a master's degree. They are at home in Atlanta, Ga., after a trip to Jamaica.
