A Mass of Christian Burial for Sandra J. Zielen of East Aurora will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 46 N. Main St., Holland. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She died unexpectedly Wednesday at home. She was 67.

Born Sandra Horey in Jackson, Mich., she came to the Buffalo area with her family as a child. She grew up in Cheektowaga and graduated from Cleveland Hill High School.

The former Holland resident also did part-time secretarial work.

In 1978, she relocated to Livermore, Calif., where she was a food program coordinator for Resources for Family Development, a child care agency. Ms. Zielen returned to the Buffalo area in 1993.

She was a former member of the Livermore Valley Lithophiles, a gem and mineral club.

Survivors include three daughters, Wendy of Chelsea, Mich., Cheryl Zielen-Ersing of West Falls, and Kimberly Blalock of Greenwood, Ind.; a sister, Helen DeWaters of Hanover, Mich.; a brother, Charles Horey of Cheektowaga; and 10 grandchildren.
