A Niagara County Court jury convicted Colby Foss III of molesting one of the three boys he was accused of abusing.
The jury returned its verdict Monday night, after deliberating for about 25 hours over three days. The trial lasted two weeks.
Foss, 34, of Oliver Street, North Tonawanda, is scheduled to be sentenced June 1 by Judge Sara Sheldon Sperrazza on three counts of first-degree criminal sexual act and one count of endangering the welfare of a child. He could face up to 25 years in prison.
The victim was an 11-year-old boy and the incidents occurred in April or May 2004.
The jury acquitted Foss on three other counts of criminal sexual act, two counts of sexual abuse and one count of child endangerment, allegedly committed from July 2003 through June 2004 against a 14-year-old boy.
The jury was unable to reach a verdict on a charge of first-degree course of sexual conduct pertaining to allegations made by a 13-year-old boy who said he was abused from the summer of 2003 through July 2004.
