COUNCIL TAKES NO ACTION ON OUTDOOR MUSIC HOURS

The Common Council Tuesday took no action on a request from some business owners to extend the deadline for playing music outdoors to 1 a.m. from midnight.

One Fourth Street resident expressed concerns about the extension as the Council noted it had received several requests from owners of businesses along the lake shore for extending the deadline by one hour.

Councilman-at-large James Muscato said the issue will be on the agenda for the next meeting.

In other action, the Council received petitions with 416 signatures asking for a public hearing to be held on plans by the Buffalo Psychiatric Hospital to build a 14-bed residential facility near Greco Lane.
