Jeanette M. Colangelo, a former business manager, died March 13 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a long illness. She was 88.
Born Jeanette Catanzaro in Buffalo, she was a graduate of Grover Cleveland High School.
She was business manager for Arrow Electric Service, which was owned by her husband. Previously, she was a stenographer and typist for various local companies.
She was best known for her interest in politics and world events, particularly antiwar and civil rights issues.
Mrs. Colangelo was a former member of the Dante Alighieri Cultural Club and the Lake Erie Italian Club.
Her husband, Domenic, died in 2004.
Surviving are a daughter, Valerie of Buffalo; and a sister, Rose C. Mancuso of Amherst.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Lombardo Funeral Home, 102 Linwood Ave.
