Presstek Inc., a maker of digital imaging and printing equipment, said it will move its Rochester operations to a plant in New Hampshire. Presstek didn't say how many jobs would be affected.

Siebel Systems ousted J. Michael Lawrie as its chief executive Wednesday, coming off a disappointing quarter that raised questions about his ability to turn around the troubled business software maker. He is being replaced by longtime Siebel board member George Shaheen, best known in Silicon Valley for overseeing the collapse of online grocer Webvan Group in 2001.

About 675 workers will lose their jobs when Black & Decker Corp. closes its Fayetteville, N.C., plant by December 2006 and moves its operations to Jackson, Tenn., and Reynosa, Mexico.
