Four suspects were arrested by Buffalo police in connection with the robbery of a pizza deliveryman on Lisbon Avenue late Tuesday, police said.
Brandon Johnson, 17, of Highgate Avenue; Daaron Braswell, 18, of Linwood Avenue; Torrence Beasley, 17, of Lisbon Avenue, and a juvenile younger than 16 each were charged with second-degree robbery.
The four allegedly stole $55 in cash and two pizzas shortly before 9:45 p.m.
Police said they lured the deliveryman to the side of a house, where they attacked him. He dropped the pizza and cash and fled, police said.
Officers, who found two pizza boxes at a nearby address, also confiscated the juvenile's cell phone, which was used to call in the pizza order.
Meanwhile, a Tioga Street resident was charged with attempted robbery, weapons possession and obstructing justice early Wednesday after undercover police officers arrested him while lying in wait for a pizza deliveryman, police said.
Larry Harris, 17, was in a Rounds Avenue address, awaiting a pizza delivery. The address was on a warning list circulated by police to area pizza businesses.
So when the pizza business received an order from that address, police were summoned. Harris was armed with a BB gun, police said.
