Jennifer Lynn McPhee, daughter of Susan Mary Paige of Buffalo and Gary James McPhee of Kenneth City, Fla., and Scott Alan Lassell, son of Anne Isabell Lassell of Saranac and Raleigh, N.C., and the late Charles Merton Lasell, were married at 6 p.m. Saturday in Eno River Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, Durham, N.C. The Rev. Mary Grigolia, associate minister of the church and assistant dean of students in University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, performed the wedding ceremony, preceding a reception in the church hall. The bride is a graduate of Hutchinson-Central Technical High School and Canisius College, where she received the first Women's Studies Award. She has a master's degree in education, higher education administration and counseling from University of Maine, Orono, and is an assistant registrar for registration and records in North Carolina State University, Raleigh. The bridegroom, a graduate of Geneseo State College, received a master's degree in nuclear science and engineering from Cornell University and is licensed by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a senior reactor operator. He is a nuclear engineer in North Carolina State University, Raleigh, where he is a nuclear engineering lecturer and manager of the nuclear services PULSTAR research reactor in the Department of Nuclear Engineering. The couple will live in Raleigh after a trip to Ocracoke Island, Outer Banks, N.C.
