Irma J. Martin of Palmetto, Fla., a former longtime resident of the City of Tonawanda, died Saturday in the Town of Tonawanda home of her daughter after a brief illness. She was 77.
Born Irma J. Nagy in North Tonawanda, she attended North Tonawanda High School.
A homemaker, she lived in the City of Tonawanda for 45 years before retiring to Florida 20 years ago.
Mrs. Martin's husband, Addison W., died in 2002.
In addition to her daughter, Jacqueline Greene, survivors include a son, Alan R. of North Tonawanda; two sisters, Frances Alexander and Doris Dahlem, both of Roanoke, Va.; a brother, Steven Nagy of Wheatfield; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at John O. Roth Funeral Home, 25 William St., City of Tonawanda.
Interment will be in White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, Amherst.
