Talks by authors Dan Kindlon and Rob Langston will highlight "Supercharging Success: Optimizing Social and Emotional Health for Teens With Learning Disabilities," an April 29 symposium at Gow School in South Wales.
Kindlon, who wrote the 1999 New York Times best seller "Raising Cain -- Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys," is a noted clinical and research psychologist specializing in behavioral problems of adolescents and children. He teaches child psychology at Harvard University and is the author of numerous scientific journal articles and two other books.
Langston is chairman and CEO of For the Children Foundation and president of Langston Co. A dyslexic, he is the author of "For the Children: Redefining Success in School and Success in Life." Langston is currently the featured speaker for Schwab Learning's National School Assemblies Program.
