A reception honoring Sen. Patricia K. McGee will be held in Doyle Hall on the campus of St. Bonaventure University, immediately following an 11 a.m. funeral service Friday.
McGee, R-Franklinville, a senator in the 57th Senate District for the past 11 years, and a former state assemblywoman and Cattaraugus County legislator, died Saturday of a progressive form of pulmonary fibrosis. She was 70.
Services are planned for 11 a.m. Friday in St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 109 S. Barry St. The reception, originally set for the Premier Banquet Hall in Olean, was changed because of a scheduling conflict, according to a statement released Wednesday by McGee's Albany office.
