Samuel W. Bragg of the Town of Tonawanda, a retiree of Pitney Bowes, died unexpectedly Sunday while visiting friends in Ellicottville. He was 77.
Born in Lackawanna, Mr. Bragg was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He worked more than 40 years as a customer service representative at Pitney Bowes, retiring in the 1990s.
A 25-year member of the National Ski Patrol at Holiday Valley, he was an examiner and a former assistant patrol leader.
Survivors include his wife, the former Patricia A. Vogt; a sister, Helen Critchey of Sydney Mines, Nova Scotia; and two brothers, Robert and Donald, both of Guelph, Ont.
A private memorial service will be held.
