The Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council will hold four public sessions regarding $500 million in federally funded transportation projects proposed for the region over the next five years.

The projects include road and bridge improvements, rails-to-trails programs and electronic information systems for travelers at the U.S./Canadian border.

The meetings, all running from 6 to 8 p.m., are: April 12 -- Cheektowaga Senior Center, 3349 Broadway; April 14 -- Buffalo & Erie County Public Library, Lafayette Square; April 19 -- Quality Inn, 7708 Niagara Falls Blvd., Niagara Falls; April 21 -- Lockport Town Hall, 6560 Dysinger Road, Lockport.
