Honcranz Howard, of Buffalo, a Buffalo City Hall janitor, died Monday in Buffalo General Hospital after a long illness. He was 40.
Born in Buffalo, he attended Buffalo Traditional High School before his family moved to Nashville, Tenn. He earned his general equivalency degree and a plumbing certificate from the Job Corps in Cassadaga and worked as a janitor in City Hall until 2002.
Surviving are two brothers, James of Nashville and Juan of Buffalo; and three sisters, Cheoril of Nashville, Yvette Hunt of Buffalo and Wanda of Syracuse.
A funeral will be held at noon Saturday in Memorial Chapels of Buffalo, 66 E. Utica St., with a wake at 11.
