A Bissell Avenue man is accused of robbing another man of $5 outside a West Side convenience store Thursday afternoon, Buffalo police reported.
Cornell L. Mack, 17, was charged with robbery, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property.
The victim, a Niagara Street man, told police that he was approached by Mack and three other men as he was entering a store at West and Auburn avenues at about 2:45 p.m.
Mack allegedly threatened the man with a gun and robbed him of $5 and then fled north on West Avenue.
Police tracked Mack down in less than 30 minutes. He had a $5 bill on him, a black mask in his pocket and was positively identified by the victim, police reported.
Mack was taken to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.
