MARCH 25, 1914 -- NOV. 28, 2004

Helen F. Lewis, a longtime resident of Kenmore, died Sunday in Alterra Health Care Center, Wheatfield. She was 90.

Born Helen Farver in North East, Pa., she lived more than 40 years in Kenmore.

Mrs. Lewis worked for several years at the Sample Shop in Buffalo. A member of First Presbyterian Church of North East, she was a member of Shiloh Chapter 153, Order of the Eastern Star, in North East for more than 60 years.

Survivors include a brother, Richard C. Farver of Corry, Pa., and her longtime companion, Tom Hughes of Kenmore.

Services were held today in William D. Elkin Funeral Home, North East. Burial was in North East Cemetery.
