TWO MISSING TOURISTS SIGHTED NEAR VOLCANO

Two tourists who disappeared 10 days ago while attempting to climb a volcano were found Friday in a jungle, but authorities did not know if they were alive.

Nicholas Roth, 28, of Britain, and Jordan Alexander Ressler, 23, of San Diego were spotted by an army helicopter flying over the 4,600-foot Maderas volcano, 60 miles southeast of Managua, an army spokesman told the Associated Press.

More than 40 rescue workers have been searching since last Saturday for the two missing tourists, but dense fog and heavy rains had impeded their search.
