Guy Alden Buck Sr. of Dayton, Pa., formerly of Amherst, died Thursday in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning, Pa. He was 74.

Born in Punxsutawney, Mr. Buck was an iron worker and a truck driver.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Eggertsville, the Consistory in New York, Punxsutawney Eagles, and the United Iron Workers union.

Mr. Buck is survived by his wife, the former Betty E. Hoeh of Dayton; two sons, Guy A. Jr. and James W., both of Big Run, Pa.; four daughters, Judy DeGroff of Salisbury, Md., Wendy Barger of Dayton, Jeanne Herman of Eden, and Lori Enterline of Dayton; two sisters, Deloris Stanley of Michigan and Karen Myers of Brookville, Pa.; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bauer-Bly Funeral Home, 125 E. Main St., Dayton, Pa.
