POLICE SEEK WOMAN IN BANK ROBBERY

A woman robbed the Bank of America, 3588 Delaware Ave., Town of Tonawanda, on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Capt. Peter F. Klipfel, chief of detectives for the Town of Tonawanda Police Department, said the woman gave a note demanding money to a teller about 3:03 p.m. The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the robber fled the bank.

The woman was described as about 5 feet tall and 200 pounds. No arrests have been made, and the FBI has taken over the case.
