EDUCATOR FROM ALBION TO HEAD SCHOOL DISTRICT

A Monroe County educator was hired to head the Lyndonville Central School District replacing Christine Tibbetts, who is retiring at the end of the year.

Barbara Deane-Williams of Albion, assistant superintendent for student learning and accountability in the Churchville-Chili Central School District, is scheduled to assume her duties as of Jan. 3.

She has more than 26 years of experience in education including work as a teacher, a special-education counselor and director of student learning.
