A 17-year-old Sheridan girl was killed early this morning, when her car crossed the center line and struck an oncoming tractor-trailer on Route 20 in the Town of Sheridan, Chautauqua County sheriff's deputies reported.
Sheriff's officials said they would not release the girl's name until later today.
The girl was pronounced dead at the scene after her westbound car slammed into the truck at 12:45 a.m.
The tractor-trailer lost some fuel when its tank was struck. A hazmat crew and the Sheridan Fire Department responded.
