A LARGE TURNOUT is expected for the Saturday evening testimonial dinner for James Sullivan of Lockport at the Apple Orchard Inn in Medina. He will be honored as senior grand warden of the New York State Masons. Sullivan's election to the post is considered an important station among Masons in the state.

Sullivan, a teacher in Lockport city schools for 34 years, has been active with the Masons since 1979. . . .

MILITARY NOTES -- Army Pvt. Harold L. Peckenpaugh, a 2003 graduate of Alexander Central School and the son of Harold and Anita Peckenpaugh of Attica, has been assigned to duty in Iraq. He is regularly assigned to the 2nd Infantry Division, Eighth U.S. Army, based in South Korea. . . . Army National Guard Pfc. William J. Stypick, son of John and Sandy Stypick of Grand Island, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. . . . Air Force Airman Jonathan H. Granger, son of John and Pearl Granger of Pike and a 2001 graduate of Letchworth Central High School, has successfully completed basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. . . .
