The Chautauqua County Department of Health is looking for a dog who bit a fast-food clerk.

According to authorities, a small, white car stopped at the drive-through window of McDonald's on Fairmount Avenue at 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

When the McDonald's employee handed the driver his order, a large brown dog with white on its face bit the employee and the man drove off.

Health officials want the driver to contact them as soon as possible. Unless the health of the dog can be verified, Health Department officials will have to recommend rabies shots for the employee.

Anyone with information about the incident should call the Chautauqua County Division of Environmental Health at 661-8110 in Jamestown or 753-4481 in Mayville.
