A Wyoming County man was listed in fair condition Monday night in Erie County Medical Center following a one-vehicle crash early Saturday in the town of Middlebury, Wyoming County sheriff's officials reported.
Andrew M. Gallacher, 46, was charged with driving while intoxicated and failure to keep right after he crashed into a utility pole while driving on East Bethany Road at about 6 a.m.
The force of the collision caused Gallacher's vehicle to roll over and come to rest on its roof.
Gallacher was trapped in the vehicle but freed by the Jaws of Life.
He was initially taken to Wyoming County Community Hospital but later was transferred to ECMC.
