A brawl at Walden Galleria near closing time Saturday night led to the arrests of at least nine people, Cheektowaga police said, and apparently resumed later in the evening in Buffalo.
Cheektowaga police Sgt. Larry Bauer said three adults and six or seven juveniles faced a variety of charges, including disorderly conduct and criminal mischief. Names of the adults were not immediately available.
The incident began with an unknown number of individuals "fighting and acting up" near the food court at about 9 p.m., Bauer said.
"They were asked to leave and went outside for the bus and starting fighting out there," said Bauer, who said that at some point during the fight, a store window was knocked out.
The fight appeared to continue in the city of Buffalo at about 10 p.m., but a police officer who answered the phone at "B" District headquarters said no additional information was available.
