INDIAN HERITAGE FESTIVAL TO BE HELD AT CASINO

The second annual Native American Heritage Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday in the Seneca Niagara Casino, 310 Fourth St.

Barry E. Snyder Sr., president of Seneca Nation of Indians, called the event "an opportunity to share and celebrate" the culture of the Seneca Nation and other native cultures.

Waneek Horn-Miller, a Native American member of the Canadian Olympic water polo team in Sydney, Australia, in 2000, will be the guest speaker during opening ceremonies at 11 a.m. Saturday.
