Diane Wallace, a health care aide, died Tuesday in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. She was 51.
Born Diane Bryant in Birmingham, Ala., she moved to Buffalo as a child in 1955. She graduated from East High School and attended Bryant & Stratton Business Institute.
From the late 1970s until her retirement in the early 1990s, Mrs. Wallace was an aide at St. Andrews Presbyterian Manor.
She was a member of the Scleroderma Foundation and enjoyed reading, watching television and her cat, Jackie.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years, James K. Jr.; two daughters, Mia of Dallas and Tasha of Buffalo; three sisters, Jeanette Moore and Beatrice Johnson, both of Decatur, Ga., and Pamela Brown of Buffalo; six brothers, Charles Pearsall of Colorado Springs, Colo., Robert Pearsall of Gary, Ind., Richard Pearsall of Birmingham, Ala., and James Bryant, Ronnie Bryant and Nathaniel Bryant, all of Atlanta.
Services were held today in United Memorial Funeral Home. Burial was in Forest Lawn.
