CAROLE T. MICHAEL, ANGOLA BUSINESSWOMAN
JULY 13, 1935 -- NOV. 14, 2004

A Mass of Christian Burial for Carole T. Michael, an Angola businesswoman, was offered today in Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, Angola. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Angola.

She died Sunday in Buffalo General Hospital while awaiting a liver transplant. She was 69.

Born Carole Zettlemoyer in Buffalo, she had lived in Angola since 1955. From 1980 to 1999, she and her husband, Norman J., owned Norm's True Value hardware store.

Mrs. Michael was a member of the Most Precious Blood Altar and Rosary Society, the Ladies of Charity and the Angola Home Bureau. She was a founding member of the Southtowns Red Hat Society.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Susan M. and Karen A., both of Angola; two sons, Norman J. Jr. of Orchard Park and Michael D. of Blasdell; a sister, Dorothy Whitley of Middleport; and eight grandchildren.
