DRIVER CLOCKED AT 110 MPH ON I-86 CHARGED WITH DWI

A Russell, Pa., man was charge with driving while intoxicated after State Police clocked him driving 110 mph about 4:10 p.m. Sunday n I-86, police said.

Rodney W. Wilkins, 24, was driving a Volkswagen Golf hatchback at the Carpenter Pringles overpass when he was clocked by State Police Trooper Timothy Snyder, police said. Wilkins got off at a nearby exit but became stuck in traffic at a stop sign on Route 394, police said.

Also charged with speeding and reckless driving, Wilkins was released on $850 bail pending an appearance Thursday in a Chautauqua County Court.
