3RD FIRE IN AS MANY DAYS IS PROBED IN JAMESTOWN

Firefighters have dealt with three fires in three days, and two of them remain under investigation.

The latest blaze was early Monday on Newland Avenue, where firefighters arrived just after 1 a.m. to find the rear of the empty building in flames.

Sunday, firefighters battled a blaze in an office/apartment building on Winsor Street. It started just before 10 a.m. The building housed Tom Kennedy's Restoration & Remodeling.

It took about an hour to get the fire under control. No one was injured in the blaze, which was blamed on an electrical problem.

At about 8 p.m. Saturday, firefighters were called to a blaze in a three-family home on Foote Avenue.
