LANCASTER RAID NETS DRUGS, ARREST OF MAN

Lancaster police confiscated some powder cocaine, crack pipes, marijuana and what appeared to be morphine pills in a weekend raid at a Transit Road apartment, police reported today.

An ongoing investigation, sparked by numerous complaints about drug trafficking at the apartment, led to the raid late Friday night at the Briarcliff Apartments at 4805 Transit Road, police said.

Detectives Donald Lynch and Gerald Oleksy and Officer Mitchell Converse charged Christopher Durso, 23, of that address, with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Charges are pending against a second suspect taken into custody.
