3 INCIDENTS OF VANDALISM INVESTIGATED IN NIAGARA

Niagara County sheriff's deputies are investigating three incidents of vandalism that occurred Saturday.

In the first, a mailbox and post were stolen from in front of a home on Demler Road in Wheatfield. The theft occurred between 1 a.m. and 3 p.m. The mailbox post was later found discarded in a nearby creek.

On Telegraph Road in Royalton, a window was shot out of a van belonging to Sparks Plumbing & Heating Co. of Lockport. The vehicle was parked in an employee's driveway when it was damaged.

A Burt man told deputies that all four tires on his car were slashed after he left it on the shoulder of Main Street in Newfane overnight Friday. Damage was estimated at $200.
