SIMON SURELY IMPROVES WGR

Will wonders never cease? First, the Boston Red Sox beat the New York Yankees. Then, they actually go out and win the World Series. Now, Howard Simon on WGR Radio?

They actually got rid of those clowns on the morning drive time show? Yes! They actually recognized the trio of Sylvester, Gaughan and Pufpaff sound more like high school sophomores drooling over the new girl in school than even remotely a professional radio team.

The addition of Simon brings credibility, professionalism, knowledge and interest to the morning, and I will begin listening to WGR in the morning again after a long absence. Dare I give WGR a preset on my car radio? No, not yet. Maybe when they replace Dumb and Dumber (Beach and Bauerle) on WBEN, I'll consider it.
