A rash of early morning burglaries on Jamestown's north side has residents on edge and police combing the area for suspects.
The burglaries occur while residents are home between midnight and 4 a.m.
In the most recent break-in, about 3:40 a.m. Friday, a sleeping baby was moved from her crib. It was at least the second occasion when the intruder entered a home through a window into a baby's bedroom, police said.
The child who was moved from the crib Friday was examined in WCA Hospital but did not appear to be injured, police said.
