DANCE: A Contra Dance Workshop from 2 to 5 p.m. today will be followed by a 6 p.m. potluck and a 7:30 p.m. dance at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 112 S. Clinton St. in Olean. Admission is $6 for adults, $2 for those younger than 15. The Southern Tier Country Dance Society sponsors dances on the second Saturday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the church.

ACHIM PROGRAM: The Brotherhood of Temple Beth Zion's monthly program will feature entertainment with readings from Jewish writers by Arnold Alt, 10 a.m. Sunday at the Meadows Lounge at the Weinberg Campus, 2700 North Forest Road, Getzville. For more information, call 681-9885.

FOOD DRIVE: Fairgrounds Gaming and Raceway in Hamburg is conducting a food drive to benefit the Food Bank of Western New York. Patrons who check in at the Jackpot Club and bring two nonperishable food items on any of the following dates will receive a $2 gaming voucher: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Nov. 14, Nov. 15, Nov. 16, Nov. 21, Nov. 22, Nov. 23, Nov. 29 or Nov. 30.

DU-ET FOR HUNGER: Christina Shrewsbury, soprana, and Carolyn Unitas Roos, along with accompanist Roland Martin will present a concert to benefit the Network of Religious Communities Food Pantry, 7 p.m. Sunday, Unitarian Universalist Church, 6320 Main St., Williamsville. A reception will follow the program. Canned food and monetary donations will be accepted.

WAR OF 1812: Allegany County Historian Craig Braack will discuss the discovery and reinterment of the remains of 28 Western New York soldiers who died in the Niagara Peninsula Campaign of the War of 1812 at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Heritage Center, 25 N. Second St., Allegany.

CHRISTMAS BAZAAR: 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Fourteen Holy Helpers' Hall, Indian Church Road, West Seneca. Santa Claus from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Wreaths, toys and theme trays. Chiavetta's chicken dinner, $7 for adults, $25 for a family of four.
