Noreen Menefee of Buffalo, a longtime toll collector, died Sunday in Walden Galleria. She was 47.
Born in Buffalo, Miss Menefee was a graduate of Lafayette High School and earned an associate's degree in business from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute.
For the past 24 years, she worked as a toll collector for the New York State Thruway Authority, primarily stationed at the Lackawanna toll barrier.
Miss Menefee was active in Word of Life Community Church in Buffalo. She enjoyed baking and spending time with her friends and family. She had a special fondness for her nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her mother, Mattie of Buffalo, and three brothers, Robert and LaForest, both of Buffalo, and William Alex Jr. of Cleveland.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Edison Street Baptist Church, 28 Edison Ave. Burial will be in Forest Lawn.
