A 19-year-old woman was arrested Sunday and charged with deliberately rear-ending another vehicle with her car, injuring four people.

Ferry-Fillmore District officers arrested Stevina Thomas of Lafayette Avenue on a complaint by Annie Jackson, 21, of Tower Street. Jackson said Thomas drove her car into Jackson's on Box Avenue, near Moselle Street, on Sunday.

Police said Jackson went to Women and Children's Hospital for treatment, along with others in her car -- Tajur Jackson, 2, of Timon Street; Rozane Hamilton, 20, of Hilton Street; and Chinqua Melvan, 21, of Bardol Street.

Thomas was charged with three felonies: vehicular assault, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
