Orville's Home Appliances is moving its headquarters to a new $3 million building in Lancaster with office and warehouse space.
"We definitely need more room for more product and more employees," advertising director Lisa Stopper said.
The 56,000-square-foot building was built by Kulback Construction. Orville's has 90-plus employees in the Buffalo area at its headquarters and retail outlets, Stopper said.
Orville's will move out of its current, leased headquarters and warehouse, on Industrial Parkway in Cheektowaga, in about two weeks, she said.
The new location at 3979 Walden Ave., Lancaster, will allow the appliance dealer to stock larger quantities of inventory and reduce prices, according to a statement.
The locally owned company has two retail locations, at 1601 Walden Ave., Cheektowaga, and 4555 N. Bailey Ave., Amherst. Orville's was founded in Buffalo in 1965.
