Six people were arrested Thursday after Buffalo police narcotics detectives raided an East Side house known for drug and prostitution business.

Jermaine C. Wright, 20, of Adams Street; Terrie N. Allen, 22, of Bailey Avenue; Samuel P. Robinson, 22, of Woltz Avenue; Jermaine D. Hall, 24, of Fillmore Avenue; Charles Cunningham, 58, of Loepere Street; and Kym S. McBride, 46, of Woltz Avenue were all charged with drug possession.

Detectives David Sugg and Johnny Walker said they executed a warrant in the rear apartment of 74 Woltz Ave. and recovered a quantity of crack cocaine hidden behind a couch. The arrests concluded a two-month investigation into drug sales there.

"We had observed 10 to 15 people at a time waiting in line back there to buy drugs," said narcotics Lt. Thomas Lyon. "We're cleaning up the neighborhood."

Police said they began the investigation because of numerous complaints from citizens about activity at that house.
