East Aurora Garden Club will meet at noon Monday at St. Matthias Episcopal Church, East Aurora. "Making Tray Favors for the Waters Nursing Home" will be presented by Judy Weidemann.

Kenmore Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore. Cathy McGovern, from Trillium Floral Shoppe, will demonstrate decorating a holiday table.

Ken-Sheriton Garden Club will present a flower show, "It's the Holidays," from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 576 Delaware Road, Kenmore. Silent auction; free admission. Public is invited.

The Hamburg House and Garden Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Hamburg United Methodist Church. Club will work on decorations for the Theodore Roosevelt National Historic Site and the Christmas tree for the Festival of Trees. Horticulture will share recipes using garden items.

The Evans Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Angola Public Library. Judy Woodman will present an autumn craft project. New members welcome; call 549-4967 or 549-0203.

The Amana Garden Club of West Seneca will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Covenant United Methodist Church, 539 Main St., West Seneca. Gerry Rising, nature columnist for The Buffalo News, will present "Bird Talk" at 1 p.m.

Cornell Cooperative Extension will present a special Wednesday class from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Topic: "Unusual Trees for your 21st Century Garden" by Ran Lydell of Eagle Bay Hostas/Cook's Nursery, Dunkirk. Admission, $8. Call 652-5400, ext. 160.

The Lancaster Garden Club will present an Open Flower Show at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Lancaster Opera House. Floral demonstration by the Floristry, theme basket silent auction and refreshments. Tickets are $5 at the door. Everyone is welcome.

The Cheektowaga Garden Club will go on a field trip Wednesday to the flower show at the Lancaster Opera House.

The Youngstown Garden Club will host "Holiday Thyme," at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Youngstown Fire Hall. Member-crafted decorations; gifts; dried flowers and herbs; baked goods will all be featured. Lillie Halworth, a floral designer for the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, Ont., will demonstrate decorative holiday arrangements. Admission is $3.

Thursday is the deadline to register for "Dried Floral Arrangement," the second in the "Hands On With the Harvest" series offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Genesee County. The workshop will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Nov. 18 at the Kennedy Building, Genesee County Fairgrounds, Batavia. Fee is $20.
