Oneida Concrete Products received site plan approval Wednesday toward the construction of a rebar shop and an office building in the City of Lackawanna.
The city's Planning and Development Board voted, 4-0, for approval after a brief presentation by architect Robert Stievater. The project represents a move from current facilities on Hamburg Turnpike to a new address at 155 Commerce Drive, on land purchased from the city.
Plans call for 5,400-square-foot shop, housed in a metal building, and a 3,100-square-foot headquarters, to be built of treated concrete block and glass. As many as a dozen employees will work at the site.
