Tim Kane of Hamburg won the Little Mo National 8-and-under tennis singles title Monday at Austin, Texas.
Kane beat Gianluigi Quinzi of Italy, 6-4, 6-0, in the championship match.
To get to the Little Mo, Kane had to win a sectional tournament in New York and finish in the top four in a regional tournament in Chicago. He won the regional.
Kane lost no more than three games in any match until the final in Texas.
Kane trains at Amherst Hills under Todd Miller.
Among the past winners at this event is Andy Roddick, who won the 10-under title in 1992 in his third appearance.
