JUDGE SPEAKS TO SISTERHOOD AT DINNER

Erie County Family Court Judge Rosalie Stoll Bailey will speak on "Family Court: A Jewish Mother's View From the Bench" at the Sisterhood of Temple Shaarey Zedek's annual Sisterhood Shabbat and Dinner Friday in the temple. Dinner at 6 p.m. will precede the 8:15 program.

Carolyn Kershanbaum and Rosalie Rosenband are dinner chairwomen and Rachel Anderson is chairwoman of the service, assisted by Ruth Norman and Tracy Sherman. Maida Dubin is reservations chairwoman. Call 838-3232 for information and reservations.

The sisterhood's annual rummage sale, featuring a designer room, will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 8, from noon to 4 p.m. Nov. 9 and from noon to 7 p.m. Nov. 10, including a bag sale. Elaine Brothman, Kershanbaum and Shirley Magil are chairwomen.

Those from the temple who will attend the biennial convention of Women's League for Conservative Judaism Nov. 14-17 in Orlando, Fla., are Rusty Zackheim, sisterhood president; Nancy Bloom, New York State Branch Torah Fund vice president; Ellen Jadd, state membership vice president, and Magil, sisterhood financial secretary.
