A reception for the couple was given in Marcy Casino in Delaware Park. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael E. DeSpirt and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. David J. Lemmo, all of Amherst. A graduate of Erie Community College and Buffalo State College, the bride is a dental laboratory technician with Alternative Dental Services, Mississauga, Ont. The bridegroom is a graduate of University at Buffalo and is an immigration and border protection inspector with U.S. Department of Homeland Security at Pearson International Airport, Toronto. They will be at home in Oakville, Ont.
Cannan - Considine

A reception for the couple was given in Lucarelli's Banquet Facility. The bride is the daughter of Elizabeth A. and Lawrence C. Cannan of Buffalo and the bridegroom is the son of Lorraine M. and Robert D. Considine of Town of Tonawanda. The newly married couple are officers in the U.S. Customs and Border Protection of the Department of Homeland Security. They have been stationed in Toronto, Ont., and are being transferred to Savannah, Ga. The bride is a graduate of Mount Mercy Academy and Niagara University. The bridegroom is a graduate of Tonawanda High School and Canisius College. They are traveling to Ireland.

Velasquez at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church, Hamburg. A reception was given in Samuel's Grande Manor for the daughter of David E. and Nancy Wittmeyer of Hamburg and the son of Ronald and Nancy Dutcher Suppe of Penfield. The bride has a master's degree in human resources development from St. John Fisher College and is a human resources representative of Concentrix Corp. and an instructor in Bryant & Stratton College. The bridegroom has a master of business administration degree from Rochester Institute of Technology and is a financial analyst with Bausch & Lomb. They will live in Rochester after a trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

A reception was given in Pearl Street Grill and Brewery. The bride is the daughter of David K. Monin of Mentor, Ohio, and Susan M. Monin of Buffalo and the bridegroom is the son of Salvatore G. Cappuzzello and Ileana M. Cappuzzello, both of Buffalo. An art teacher in Buffalo Public Schools, the bride is a graduate of Buffalo State College and is a volunteer usher in Shea's Center for the Performing Arts. The bridegroom, a vocational teacher in Adult Learning Center, is owner of Web IT Co. and is coordinator of religious education in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He attends Erie Community College. They will be at home in Amherst.
