CAMPAIGN ARTIFACTS: Presidential campaign artifacts from Andrew Jackson to Richard Nixon will be displayed through Feb. 20 in the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society. Culled from the museum's collection, "Every Four Years: Presidential Campaign Memorabilia" features campaign buttons, badges, ribbons, handbills and other items. INFORMATION SESSION: Rural landowners in Niagara and Orleans counties are invited to a free informational session on the purchase and operation of small farm equipment, spotting cover-ups when buying used equipment, selecting specialty equipment and buying at auction. The session will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at Niagara Implement, 2337 Lockport-Olcott Road (Route 78), Newfane.

ADULT LEARNERS: An Adult Learner Information Day, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday in the admissions office in Hamilton Collegiate Center, Jamestown Community College in Jamestown, targets the special concerns of prospective college students who have been out of high school for several years and transfer students. A campus tour and opportunities to schedule appointments for advisement are on the agenda, with refreshments served throughout the day. CARDS FOR A CAUSE: The Cheektowaga Art Guild will make Christmas cards at their meeting; 7:30 p.m., Thursday, in the Cheektowaga Recreation Center on Harlem Road.
