Stradtman-Pierce of Clarence are parents of the bride. The bridegroom is the son of Barbara Boehringer of Depew. The bride is a graduate of University at Buffalo with a master's degree in social work. The bridegroom is a graduate of UB and is attending Buffalo State College for a master's degree in elementary education. They will be at home in Buffalo after a trip to Mexico.

At 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Amelia Catholic Church, Town of Tonawanda, Diane Marie Avino and John Fredrick Gross were married by the Rev. James R. Bastian of SS. Peter and Paul Church, Hamburg. A reception was given in Sheraton Four Points Hotel for the daughter of Marianne C. and Joseph M. Avino of Town of Tonawanda and the son of Judith Gross of Tonawanda and stepson and son of Cinde and John F. Gross Sr. of Grand Island. The bride and bridegroom are graduates of MarJon School of Beauty Culture. She is a graduate of Niagara County Community College and he is a Grand Island High School alumnus. They are cosmetologists and hairstylists and will be at home in North Tonawanda after a Caribbean cruise.

The bridegroom is the son of William D. and Joan Tucker of Cheektowaga. A graduate of Orchard Park Central High School, the bride is employed in food service in Sweet Home School District. The bridegroom, a graduate of Maryvale High School and Bryant & Stratton College, is an outside salesman with Service Steel and plays guitar and sings in the Town and Country Band. They will be at home in East Amherst.

The bridegroom is a graduate of UB and Vermont Law School, where he received a master's degree in environmental law and a juris doctor degree. He is an associate attorney with Cohen & Lombardo. They will live in Buffalo after a trip to Hawaii.
