WOMAN RAPED IN HOUSE ON DESHLER ST., ARM CUT

A woman told Buffalo police she was raped after she was pulled by an unknown assailant into a vacant Deshler Street house early Friday and then suffered a large cut on her forearm when she tried to escape from her attacker.

The victim told Ferry-Fillmore District police she was attacked at about 1 a.m. by a man who held a knife to her neck.

In trying to escape, she smashed a window with her right hand and arm. The woman was treated for her injuries in Buffalo General Hospital.
